Nice to meet you, I'm Dr. Lívia Macedo, trained in Cardiology and Echocardiography at the Hospital das Clínicas of UFMG. Since medical school, the way the heart works has fascinated me, and within cardiology I found my true professional calling. We know that cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of mortality worldwide, which is why my focus is primarily on prevention! My wife and I met Dr. Livia in January of this year. I've seen many doctors, and I've personally seen very few with the same care and attention to the patient as Dr. Livia. I had been searching for a cardiologist for a long time, and I found her. Her consultation was excellent because she went into detail about my entire medical history and ordered tests that had never been done before. I highly recommend Dr. Livia!!!!
