I didn't have the same experience as the other reviews. In fact, my experience with the clinic has always been positive. I had a problem with the ligaments in my right ankle, and I consulted with Surgeon Eduardo Maciel, a foot specialist. My surgery (arthroscopy) was scheduled in 30 days (part of the health insurance) at Hospital Santa Catarina. I had no complications, the recovery was extremely fast, and in less than 3 months I was back playing soccer. For those who have ankle problems, such as recurrent sprains (my case), I leave this letter here to reassure you, although the word surgery is quite frightening, for me the experience was very smooth, painless and quick. Of course, recovery and physiotherapy are a tedious but necessary process, but today I feel a security in my foot that hasn't existed for a long time!! I am always grateful to Dr. Eduardo and the clinic.

This clinic has zero medical ethics. They always cancel appointments at the last minute, claiming that Dr. Arlindo needs to leave early, offering available slots in the middle of the day. They have no commitment to the patient or to the health insurance plans they claim to accept. Avoid this place, considering the large number of complaints I've seen here; the problem wasn't just with me.

The service was awful. Impossible to recommend. If you want to feel irrelevant and foolish, this is the place. Wholesale surgery and it's quite possible you'll be cheated in the consultation queue. They'll call everyone in the waiting room, new people will arrive and leave, and you won't be called in order of arrival time for your consultation.

During my consultation and follow-up appointment with Dr. Arlindo, I waited 45 minutes to be seen, even though I arrived a few minutes early to avoid being late! Clearly, being punctual didn't help; the clinic needs to fix this! If they can't be punctual, they need to adjust their schedule.
