A specialist or expert in a specific area of ophthalmology, in addition to the three basic years required to obtain the title of ophthalmologist, dedicates several more years to deepening their subspecialization. An example of this dedication is the wall display in our reception area, which showcases more than 12,000 lens bottles used in cataract surgeries, representing the cases I have operated on over approximately two years. We believe that this specialization allows us to offer exceptional knowledge and skills in the treatment of eye problems. Our goal is to provide humanized care, using cutting-edge technology to closely monitor our patients and their families. The Eyexpert Clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art devices for more precise diagnosis and more predictable results, such as in calculating the lens that will replace the cataract. We offer various examinations so that the patient leaves the clinic with a complete evaluation. We have a privileged location, between the Ana Rosa (450 m) and Paraíso (470 m) metro stations, with easy access via major avenues. It features a spacious and modern area, carefully designed to ensure patient well-being and comfort. Free Parking The clinic has limited free parking spaces; please check availability.

Regarding the clinic: it's nice, we were well attended to, and it has a play area for children with educational toys in good condition. Everything was clean. Regarding the doctor, being a pediatric ophthalmologist, I felt he lacked "tact" with children. There was little play material to distract or entertain, and he was the one who put the dilating eye drops in my daughter, and she cried a lot. Not because of the doctor, but because of the procedure itself. In this case, if possible, I would suggest someone else administer the eye drops, because she was traumatized by the doctor, and then the examination afterward was a real ordeal. Aside from that, I found the doctor competent, he talked to us explaining everything, and he was patient and calm with my baby's tantrum.
