I was 10 minutes late and let them know because of the parking. They put another patient ahead of me, which was fine, but then they started making me wait longer by putting someone else in and doing lengthy procedures. I explained that it was my shift day and I had a time limit, plus the waiting time they kept me on hold was three times longer than I was late. Then the trichologist saw me and didn't even apologize, creating a tense atmosphere. Zero empathy and arrogance as if she were doing me a favor.

I went to an appointment with Dr. Fernanda Queiroz for the removal of small warts, a procedure covered by my health insurance. During the appointment, I was surprised by politically charged and prejudiced comments, completely out of context, as well as her statement that, in her view, it should not be performed by the insurance company because it is considered an aesthetic procedure and not a health issue. I emphasize that the procedure is included in the ANS (Brazilian National Agency for Supplementary Health) coverage list, therefore it is a patient's right. Even so, I was treated as if I were trying to take advantage of the situation, even hearing the phrase: "That's why Brazil is in this state." It surprised me that she spoke with a smile on her face, defending her inappropriate discourse as if I were a layperson. It caused me great discomfort and made me feel disrespected. Regardless of political opinions, I hope that healthcare professionals maintain ethics, respect, and impartiality in their care. And to make matters worse, she complained so much that she didn't remove the warts we had agreed on in the previous consultation, and for one of the large warts that required anesthesia, she used the wrong anesthesia, causing me pain during the removal. I even wondered if she didn't use the proper technique! In short, consider this a warning: if you don't want to see a doctor with questionable conduct, don't make an appointment with her.
