ID began its activities in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in the Rio Comprido neighborhood, in 1981, by Dr. Edson Jurado da Silva, at the Portugal Health Center. In 2010, doctors Dr. Conrado Gaia and Dr. Sidney Gonçalves began their activities jointly with Dr. Edson Jurado, enhancing patient care. After this period, other doctors were incorporated into the clinic, improving service and appointment and exam scheduling. In June 2016, we launched a new branch in Copacabana, expanding the same values advocated by the clinic since its founding. Our multidisciplinary team is composed of gastroenterologists, general surgeons, proctologists, endoscopists, and nurses, all with a common goal: the well-being of our clients. ID's mission is the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases, prioritizing humanized care and quality in our relationship with clients.
