# Ortofisioterapia – Health and Wellness Clinic

For over 30 years, Ortofisioterapia – Health and Wellness Clinic has been providing physical therapy services in the cities of Florianópolis and São José. Under new management since 2007, it has been seeking to diversify the types of physical therapy services offered and today boasts various specialties. In 2012, the clinic needed to reinvent itself and began managing medical offices. Two years of structural updates followed, particularly in bringing the clinic's technological infrastructure into the 21st century. 2016 marked the year the clinic professionalized as a business, and over two years, operational processes were modified to create a more organized and well-structured clinic. The results came in 2018 when it became Brazil's first physical therapy clinic to receive quality of care certification. The year 2018 was the year of physical therapists. They dedicated themselves to studies and professional development workshops with the goal of acquiring new knowledge, fostering interaction, formulating treatment plans—all aimed at providing the best care for patients. This involved changing how we think about patients, treatments, and reinventing what can be accomplished with physical therapy.

## The Pandemic

It was a way for us to reinvent ourselves. Projects were halted and the entire clinic's operations were restructured. Money was short. Patients were few... We don't need to elaborate much, as we all went through it and it's still recent history that many suffered drastic consequences from.

## New Project for 2024 and 2025
