Polo Psi Clinic is strategically located in the Madureira neighborhood and has a team of experienced psychologists, psychoanalysts, neuropsychologists, psychopedagogues, and speech therapists in the clinical field. All our professionals are registered with the Regional Council of Psychology (CRP) and have specialized training in their area of practice. Sessions last fifty minutes, and we provide a private and welcoming environment for patients and their companions. We have several consultation rooms, including children's rooms, which are spacious and well-equipped to care for your child with comfort and peace of mind. Online sessions are also conducted in a clinical setting—that is, online consultations are held at Polo Psi Clinic. We serve all age groups. An adult's first consultation is conducted by an experienced psychologist who will use therapeutic techniques and strategies to help the patient express what they are feeling. The psychologist's role is to contribute to and facilitate the patient's ability to establish a strong therapeutic relationship, understanding that each patient has their own pace of communication and that the relationship is built gradually. Here at POLO PSI, our rooms are private and you will receive personalized and welcoming care. For children's appointments, the first consultation is conducted with the parents only, which we call a "parental intake session." During this first session with the parents, the psychologist gathers information about the child's development, school performance, behaviors, family life, eating habits, sleep, tics and habits, etc. In the following session, the child is seen in a room specially designed for children, with soft colors and gentle décor to help reassure the young patient. The room features psychopedagogical games and exercises that facilitate concentration, attention, and memory, as well as psychological tests used during sessions. Parents receive periodic written reports detailing their child's developmental progress in therapy. We offer service packages and are available for any questions.
