I had a consultation with Dr. Hallim on May 11th for refractive surgery and was informed that the team would send the necessary documentation for reimbursement to the health insurance company. The following day I contacted them again because there had been no movement on the plan, and to this day (May 26th) nothing has been sent. The service during the consultation was good, but the post-consultation and administrative support were extremely frustrating. The lack of follow-up and the failure to send the medical documentation leaves me feeling cheated and with wasted time.

This is the first time I've left a clinic feeling SO angry. I scheduled two appointments. One for my father, and another for my mother, both elderly, 78 and 79 years old, at 2 PM, one after the other, with Dr. Luis Paves. We arrived at 2 PM sharp. We waited until 2:40 PM, when I asked if they would be waiting much longer. That's when the receptionist looked at the computer, checked the appointment, and told me that their appointment was scheduled for after 3:20 PM in the system. I showed her the appointment made on WhatsApp, scheduled for 2 PM, proven, written, everything there on WhatsApp. They scheduled the wrong time in the system. They scheduled the 2 PM appointment with me and put another time in the system. Can this happen? Yes. What to do at this point? Talk, apologize, explain something. And what happened? NOTHING. Then I went to ask how it would be resolved. The response was "we have to proceed with the normal service for other people." In other words, if my parents wanted to be seen, we would have to wait another 40 minutes or more. I left the clinic with my parents, and in addition to not being seen, there was no apology, no explanation, nothing. I was outraged, very angry at the lack of respect. It wasn't me who made a mistake. Nor my parents. I sent a message via WhatsApp asking them to cancel the service request through the health plan, and said that I thought this was disrespectful. Absurd. I left because I couldn't wait that long. The delay would be at least 1 hour and 20 minutes in total. After my message, they replied: "We apologize for the inconvenience and are available to reschedule when possible." I don't know if anyone can understand... lack of care, lack of respect, lack of education. I felt like an idiot. I didn't ask for any favors. I'm paying for an expensive plan so that my family can be treated with the minimum respect. I scheduled an appointment. I arrived on time. "What is all this? Star treatment?" Me and my parents. I'M NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS CLINIC AGAIN. Note: I gave one star because I can't post with zero stars.

Dr. Hallim, in addition to being super attentive and helpful, is a very capable doctor who possesses a great deal of knowledge and is very good at explaining procedures.
