Thyroid hormone resistance syndrome is a rare genetic disorder where body tissues do not respond normally to thyroid hormones despite normal or elevated hormone levels in the blood. This results in symptoms of hypothyroidism such as fatigue, slow metabolism, and growth delays despite adequate thyroid hormone production.
