Here is a little of my professional journey. I graduated in Dentistry from the Federal University of Paraná in 2004. After graduation, I chose to specialize in Orthodontics, a field of dentistry concerned with the prevention and correction of occlusion problems, tooth alignment, as well as the positioning of the dental arches and the relationship between the jaw bones. I obtained my specialist degree in Orthodontics from the Sociedade Paulista de Ortodontia (São Paulo Society of Orthodontics) in 2008. Seeking to deepen my studies in the prevention and treatment of orthodontic and orthopedic problems in children, I completed a postgraduate program in Functional Orthopedics of the Jaws. A desire to teach and an interest in research led me to earn a Master's degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Paraná in 2015. My research topic during the Master's program was in the area of oral and maxillofacial surgery and traumatology, specifically in orthognathic surgery. Later, my interest in the surgical field and oral rehabilitation drove me to become a specialist in Implantology in 2017. Further deepening my pursuit of academic knowledge and research, in 2023 I obtained a Doctoral degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Paraná, where I developed a research project focused on oral and maxillofacial surgery and traumatology. My academic journey has yielded scientific articles published in internationally recognized journals. I have 21 years of clinical experience, with the majority of my practice in private practice since 2004, and between 2016 and 2024 I served as an orthodontist in the Brazilian Army at the Hospital Geral de Curitiba (General Hospital of Curitiba).
