Hello! I am an orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist with a background in physical therapy — a combination that broadens my perspective on the body in motion and on the causes of musculoskeletal pain. This journey allows me to practice in a comprehensive manner, integrating diagnosis, prevention, and rehabilitation into a single care plan. My focus is on avoiding surgery whenever possible, prioritizing strategies that restore function, movement, and quality of life to my patients. I practice in Ipanema (Rio de Janeiro), offering thorough consultations and modern procedures performed on-site, such as:
• Musculoskeletal ultrasound,
• Image-guided injections,
• Viscosupplementation,
• Shockwave therapy,
• Photobiomodulation.
These procedures support precise diagnosis and immediate treatment, with convenience, safety, and continuity of care all in one setting. I am a member of SBOT (Brazilian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology) and SBCJ (Brazilian Society of Knee Surgery). I completed my medical residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Hospital Naval Marcílio Dias and a fellowship in Knee Surgery at INTO (National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics). I also completed a Pain Medicine training program at Albert Einstein. For greater convenience, I offer evening and weekend appointments, ensuring urgent care when needed. This way, patients have easy access and continuous follow-up, even outside of conventional hours.
